Caspar ll's sire is Clearway, his dam Polexar is also based at Traleigh Stud International and is competing in affiliated showjumping competitions in 2008. Clearway's pedigree includes two pillars of Holstein horse breeding in direct combination, via Capitol I and Lord. His sire Capitol I always enjoyed great confidence and popularity among the breeding fraternity, which he already reciprocated early on in his siring career with outstanding show jumpers such as Corso, Concorde, Cartier, Caruso, Cincinnati, Cliquot, Calle, Caldas and others. The dam, Wodka II was mated with Athlet Z and gave birth to the approved Arturo and together with Caretino, produced the stallion performance test winner Conway. The dam-sire Lord won his approval and became a hereditary transmitter of extra-ordinary diversity, whose progeny had successes around the globe. Ramiro in the third generation was a sire of the century. The great-grandam Corinna was mated with Follywise xx and produced the approved stallion Format and together with Marlon xx, presented the equally highly esteemed Malteser. Her sire Albrant broke off his siring career to become a successful international eventing horse under Herbert B locker. Bloodline 1916 moreover also produced the approved stallions A l'Amour (private stallion Rhineland-Palatinate-Saar), the successful international sports horse Controe/Marco Kutscher, Herold, who is being effectively utilised at the Vornholz stud farm, Laissez faire, the Baden- Wiirttemberg approval winner of 2002, Lord Inkognito (private stallion Bavaria), Maron (Holstein Association), Merano I (Hungary), the successful international sports horse Mowgli (private stallion Holstein, Sweden) and Tesino (private stallion Baden-Wiirttemberg) as well as the successful international dressage horse Antoinette (by Anblick xx/Dr. J.
